Fort Worth Cultural District Walk

Starts at Fairfield Inn, 1505 S. University Drive, Fort Worth

16K & 12K - Rated 1B, Wheelchairs and strollers may find the route hard.  Route is on paved river walk along the Trinity River, along city streets passing museums, theaters, coliseum and through botanical garden, where pets are NOT allowed.  6K Route is on paved and gravel paths through Trinity Park.  5K Route is through Botanic Gardens only (not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers).  Please use caution: as in all large metropolitan areas, we discourage people from walking alone.

8K - Rated 1B, along paved river walk, and dirt trails thru woods in Trinity Park

5K - Rated 1B, thru Botanic Gardens only (not suitable for wheelchairs & strollers - no dogs)

Downtown Ft. Worth Walk

Starts at Sheraton Ft Worth, 1701 Commerce, Fort Worth

Walk is rated 2A, along paved city streets with its rich architecture and western history. The 10km also winds through some Victorian Homes and through Tarrant County College Campus.. Some small hills.  

Cowtown & Stockyards Walk

Starts at Stockyards Visitor's Information Center, 130 E. Exchange, Fort Worth

Trail is rated 2A. Discover the Historic Stockyards with cattle drives twice daily along Exchange Avenue, rustic Old West buildings and the World�s Largest Honky Tonk, Billy Bob�s Texas. The 12km route takes you for a long walk along the Trinity River to downtown Fort Worth thru Sundance Square.  

Historic Weatherford

Starts at Albertson's, 225 E. Spring Street and Highway 180, Weatherford

Walk is rated 1B, along paved city streets thru a historic cemetery (where actress Mary Martin is buried), by Victorian homes, and by Chandor Gardens. There are some small hills.
